Narrative Collage

A narrative collage is a piece of fine art that tells a story.  Think of it as a visual book with many chapters.  Each time you view your artwork, the story unfolds, layer by layer.  For example, the collage can be about a special person, a memorable event, a special interest, your home or even a beloved pet.  The end result is a work of art that is uniquely yours.

Ordering a personal narrative is ordering a custom piece of art.  I can lead you through this process by providing a short questionnaire or conducting a brief interview by phone to gather your ideas and memories.  We will also discuss whether you want your collage on wood, canvas or paper and the size of your finished piece.  I will then send an order sheet to be completed and returned to me along with your mementos.  All personal images and artifacts are copied and returned in the condition they were sent, unless you choose to have the originals embedded in the collage.

The final piece is of archival quality and will delight you and your family for decades.
